On May 18-19, 2023, the Vitebsk region welcomes guests of the XI International Economic Forum “Innovations. Investments. Perspectives.”
Theme of the Forum 2023: “Creative economy – a bet on the future”.
More than a hundred of the best enterprises and organizations of the Vitebsk region will demonstrate their developments and high-tech products, samples of import-substituting products in order to find new partners for the implementation of joint investment projects.
Vitebsk Investment Forum is a place where the ideas and desires of business meet with the opportunities and support of the state. This is the place where every year we track the achievements of the Vitebsk region, define new prospects for growth, development and partnership.
A distinctive feature of the exhibition expositions this year is the demonstration of the cluster approach in organizing the mechanism for the qualitative transformation of regional economic systems. The development of regions based on cluster principles is relevant and has a high practical significance. We imagine the development of our Vitebsk region as an interconnected cooperation between enterprises, organizations, the education system, united around a scientific and educational center, associated with partnerships with government authorities in order to increase the competitiveness of enterprises, the region and the national economy.
The main growth points of the region are reflected in the formed exhibition expositions: “Territory of innovations in industry”, “Light industry – a platform for cooperation opportunities”, “Innovations in pharmacy, healthcare, medicine”, “Energy: resources and technologies”, “Investments. Cooperation. Projects”, “Tourist potential of the Vitebsk region”, “Innovative equipment and machinery” and “Agro-industrial potential of the Vitebsk region”.
To expand new markets and establish new long-term partnerships between representatives of business communities, the Forum organized the Subcontracting Exchange in the following areas: industry, construction, food industry, agriculture, transport and logistics, IT – sphere, consulting, education.
The uniqueness of the events held is in the creation of a multifunctional interactive platform that allows you to combine the participation of in-person guests of the Forum, online registered participants, exhibitors of a virtual exhibition and exhibitors of a face-to-face exhibition.
Participation in the Forum was confirmed by more than 20 foreign delegations from 10 countries of the world. The heads of the diplomatic missions of the People’s Republic of China, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in the Republic of Belarus, the diplomatic corps of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Islamic Republic of Iran will take part in the events of the Forum. Delegations from three provinces of the People’s Republic of China, business leaders and government officials from 12 regions of the Russian Federation, the Republic of India, the Republic of Turkey, the Islamic Republic of Iran showed interest in establishing closer mutually beneficial relations at the site of the Innovation.Investment, Prospects Forum.
